Augusta law enforcement agencies made multiple arrests this week, after finding drugs in a local Inn.

According to Deputy Chief Kevin D. Lully  of the Augusta Police Department:

"On March 22nd at approximately 6:30 pm, the Augusta Police Department, and representatives from the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency and the Kennebec Sheriff’s Office executed a search and arrest warrant at the Comfort Inn, in Augusta. Three  males have been arrested in connection with the search warrant:"

All 3 men arrested are from Massachusetts.

26-year-old Patrick W. Denis was charged with two counts of Unlawful Trafficking In Scheduled Drugs and Criminal Forfeiture

26-year-old Khail T Newson was charged with one count of Unlawful Trafficking In Scheduled Drugs, and Criminal Forfeiture.

And 34-year-old Charles L. Phillips was charged with Possession of a Firearm by a prohibited person.

All 3 men are being held at the Kennebec County Jail.
