Multiple People Shot in Washington County; Suspect in Custody

One man is in custody following a shooting spree in Washington County Monday morning.

Thomas Bonfanti, 63, faces murder charges in the deaths of three people, according to a report at WABI.

A fourth person was injured in the shooting spree.

The shootings took place in Machias and Jonesboro. Police responded to the scenes at about 11 a.m. Monday.

Police have identified the victims as:

• Samuel Powers, 33,
• Jennifer Bryant-Flynn, 49
