‘FYZICAL’ Therapy And Balance Centers To Branch Out, Opening New Ellsworth Location
It's been almost two years since FYZICAL Balance and Therapy Centers, Twin City Bangor, a location on Bangor Mall Boulevard.
The state-of-the-art clinic is staffed by local physical therapists who have a well-rounded knowledge of orthopedic, sports, neurological, balance, and manual therapy.
Owners, Bill and Karen Beane, and their team have not only spent the past two years helping the patients from over 126 Maine towns diagnose and treat the aches and pains so they can get off the sidelines and back to living their lives, but they have also become part of the community by hosting special fundraisers, clinics, and activities.

With the success of the Bangor clinic, the Beane family has decided to expand to Downeast Maine and will be opening a new FYZICAL facility at the beginning of April.
The new clinic is located at 75 Washington Street, right next to the Libitzki School of Dance.
According to Business Development Liaison Benjamin Smith, FYZICAL Therapy and Balance Centers Downeast Ellsworth will start treating patients by mid-April with a Grand Opening celebration scheduled for sometime in May.

"The new Ellsworth clinic will operate under the leadership of Clinic Director Dr. Renee Moran, PT, DPT, who will split her time between both locations to ensure a consistent, high-quality patient experience across the region."
"Dr. Renee Moran will be joined by Dr. Kenny Ingalls as treating clinicians in Ellsworth."
Smith says Bangor is well-staffed at the moment, with Dr. Anne Johnson and Izabelle Burtt, PTA, treating full-time in Bangor. He said they have three more hires slated from now through May at the Bangor facility, and will add to the Ellsworth staff in the future, as well.
"...there is a significant need for accessible, high-quality physical therapy services in rural communities. Expanding into Ellsworth allows us to bring care closer to home for so many people who need it.”

Moran says she's excited to be able to help folks in Downeast Maine with issues like balance disorders, dizziness and vertigo, neurological conditions, orthopedic pain, and post-surgical recovery.
"Our goal is to create the same welcoming, supportive, and results-driven environment in Ellsworth that our patients have come to know in Bangor. Whether someone is dealing with dizziness, recovering from surgery, or trying to stay active and independent, we’re here to help them truly ‘Love Your Life.’”
As they did when they opened the Bangor Clinic, FYZICAL Therapy and Balance Centers Downeast Ellsworth clinic has partnered with the local pet food program put on by the Eastern Area Agency on Aging called the Furry Friends Food Bank.
"Donations of pet food and supplies will be accepted at the new Ellsworth location leading up to and during the grand opening period."
Smith says that so far, the Ellsworth community has been very supportive of the new Washington Street location.
