NOAA Says Milder Winter Is On The Way For Maine
Finally a weather forecast I can get behind.
NOAA released a report Thursday that Maine's winter will be a bit drier and shows no signs of any bitter cold temperatures. Instead, it's probable Maine's weather will be a tad warmer. NOAA forecasters estimate that if an El Nino forms, it will be weak this winter. What that means for us is the average temperature from December - February will be in the 50s.
So with all due respect to the Farmers' Almanac, I think I am hanging my hat on these guys.
