No need for that big winter coat in the Bangor area or downeast Maine by this Saturday.

The National Weather Service tells us that there will be a few wet and cold periods throughout this week, with some snow showers expected tonight, 1 to 3 inches of snow early this Wednesday, and then cold temperatures Thursday.  But, after that, we'll have much warmer temperatures moving into the area throughout the day on Friday, with a high of 44 by Saturday.

There may be a few snow showers this coming Saturday, but with temperatures in the mid 40s, the roads should be fine.  Sounds like a great day for a hike to us!
