Make sure that those holiday wreaths are tied down, because wind gusts up to 45 mph are expected.

It may have gotten warmer in Maine, but it's also getting a whole lot windier.

The National Weather Service has issued a high wind warning for areas of Penobscot, Hancock and Washington Counties from 9 tonight until about 4 a.m. Tuesday.  Winds will be out of the south between 15 and 30 mph, with gusts up to 45 mph, and even more so further downeast.

Rain will continue off and on here in the Bangor area and throughout downeast Maine during the night, much warmer though with a low temperature of 47 degrees expected.

A chance of rain will continue throughout Tuesday with winds out of the southwest around 11 mph and gusts up to 23 mph.  Tuesday's temperature will top out at 55 here in Bangor.
