Police Identify Victim in Fatal Bangor Crash [UPDATE]

A crash on Broadway in Bangor Tuesday night has claimed the life of one man.

Police have identified the victim as 80-year-old Alston Crandall of Dover-Foxcroft.

Police responded to a report of a head-on collision near the Pushaw Road intersection at about 9 p.m. Tuesday. Two people were taken to the hospital as a result, but Bangor Police reported Wednesday morning that Crandall had died.

The accident is under investigation.
