Pedestrian Struck By Car In Brewer
A woman was taken to the hospital after she was struck by a car Thursday morning at the intersection of Wilson and South Main Streets in Brewer.
As the woman was stepping onto the crosswalk, she was struck by a vehicle making a right-hand turn onto Wilson Street, WABI reported.
"As with anything, always be cautious. Just because you have a walk signal, make sure all the cars are stopping for you," Sgt. Nelson Feero said. "And the same thing for drivers. Just because you have a green light, make sure you're cautious of pedestrians."
The woman was taken to the hospital with a minor head injury.
Police said no charges are expected to be filed.
