Pets Of The Week: Double Your Love With These Bonded Beauties
If you've been looking for a little extra love these days, you may want to take a peek at these two bonded beauties, Jessica and Nadia.
According to the folks at the SPCA of Hancock County, they're quite the pair, who have been through the ups and downs life has to offer, and they've done it together.
"Jessica and Nadia, a bonded pair of one-year-old girls, were found as part of a colony of stay cats. These two gray beauties have never had a home for themselves."
We're told that when the pair were just kittens, they caught a terrible cold that left them each scarred in one eye. The vet who treated the pair said that since the scarred eyes were not causing them any pain, despite not being that useful to see with, they could each keep them.
Aside from that mild speed bump from childhood, they have gotten to a place of pleasant plumpness, and as such, have had to go on a bit of a diet. But again, there's not much these two can't do together, so despite being on some specialized food for their weight, there's just a little more of them to love at the moment. And from the sound of it, they're the perfect example of kitty coziness.
"They love to do everything together, eat sleep, cuddle, and play. Jessica loves to lounge around in a cozy bed while Nadia enjoys playing with catnip balls and toy mice. These two girls love other cats, but they are not huge fans of dogs. Jessica and Nadia would make perfect companions to any human or cat!"
