Power Outage In Orono/Old Town Area Affecting 4,700 Customers

A big power outage is being reported by Versant Power this afternoon.  At 2 p.m. on this Thursday it was reported that 4,749 customers are without power in Orono, Old Town, Bradley and Alton.

Crews from Versant Power are currently investigating the outages and have not given a reason for them at this point.  An estimated time of restoration at this point is 3:30 p.m.
