RECALL: Don’t Eat These Breakfast Burritos
Sausage, eggs, potatos and plastic ain't cool.
The Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry has informed us that Ruiz Food Products, Inc. of Texas is recalling 50,706 pounds of El Monterey frozen breakfast burritos that may be contaminated with small pieces of broken plastic.
The frozen cook and serve burritos with sausage and egg were produced on March 3rd of this year and then shipped nationwide, so there may be a package residing in your freezer.
- 3.38-lb. plastic wrapped packages containing 12 Count, 4.5-ounce individually wrapped frozen “EL MONTEREY SIGNATURE BURRITOS, EGG, SAUSAGE, CHEESE & POTATO” with lot code 18062 and 18063, and a best if used date of 3/3/2019 or 3/4/2019.
Look for this "establishment #" on the back of the package: EST. 17523A
Take 'em back to where you purchased them and get a refund, or feed them to the neighbor's pigs, they've eaten worse.
