Ever think of taking a drive to New Hampshire to enjoy the foliage? Well if so there is one stop you'll need to make to get a truly unique experience with the Scenic Trail Riders.

This group has fashioned special pedal carts that traverse the old train tracks through the beautiful New Hampshire woods and countryside. If you love to hike through the forest and get a little exercise while enjoying the great outdoors this is right up you alley.

Operating out of Concord they rent out their custom made Rail-Bikes which they say are light weight and easy to pedal.  This is a great activity for families, groups of friends or even a couple on a date. their webpage adds:

These Rail-Bikes have been built with your safety in mind as they include comfortable seats with seatbelts and handle bars to rest your hands on.  There are also redundant disc brakes for additional safety.

the whole trip will take you a little under 2 hours and is about 6 miles long. Many part of the rails give views of the Merrimack River. Just 3 short hours away and lots to do on the way there and back.
