Road Trip Worthy – Visiting Columbus’ Santa Maria In Maine

Just in time for a school report you and the fam can in a short drive board the spitting image of one of history's most famous ships.

The replica of  the largest of Christopher Columbus' ships used as he searched for the Americas the Santa Maria will be making port in two Maine harbors in September. 

The ship's full length is 161 feet long. the Nao Santa Maria, built in 2017 and is currently on a North American tour.  You can visit and explore all 5 decks of this amazing ship when it docks in Portland September 19 to 22 or in Boothbay Harbor September 25 to 29. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for kids ages 5 to 10. A family group of two adults and up to 3 kids from 5 to 10 is only $25.
