Robber with Machete Chased Off by Man with Sword

Only in Maine...

Here's a new saying for you: Don't bring a machete to a sword fight. A dude from Bath figured that out. Local genius, Jason Mitchell, allegedly broke into a Court street home in Bath last week. The resident called the cops saying Mitchell broke into his home armed with a machete.

The homeowner then chased after Mitchell ... with a sword! Unfortunately he couldn't catch up to Machete Mitchell after he fled.

Mitchell being the genius he is wore a bandanna over his face, but it didn't help. The homeowner knew exactly who he was, so cops caught up to him fast.

Mitchell is charged with felony robbery and burglary.
