A 67-year-old man from Clinton has gone missing, and the police are asking residents of the town if they have any information about where he might be.
Family members reported William Parent of Clinton missing after not hearing from him for several days. He was last seen at his Main Street home in Clinton on Friday, June 20th. But when the family returned several days later to check on him, his door was open and he was nowhere to be found.

Authorities made the appeal for information on their Facebook Page on Tuesday, asking that anyone with any details about where the missing man may be reach out.
"A ping from Mr. Parent’s cell phone suggests he may have been in the Washington area of Knox County following his disappearance. His current whereabouts are unknown."
"We’ve had a few reported sightings, but they have been confirmed not to be him. We’re following up on several leads today. While the investigation is ongoing, we are not ruling out suspicious circumstances at this time and may have more to share soon."
Authorities describe Mr. Parent as a 5 feet 8 inch tall white male, weighing 150 pounds. He has blue eyes and wears glasses. He has a scar under his right eye. Mr. Parent has grey, balding hair and a thin build. They're not sure what he was wearing at the time he disappeared.
The Maine State Police have joined the search as well. Maine Department of Public Safety spokesperson, Shannon Moss, says they are also asking folks to keep an eye out for Parent.
"The Maine State Police are assisting the Clinton Police Department in a missing person investigation involving 67-year-old William Parent of Clinton. Law enforcement is concerned for his safety and well-being."

If you have any information about Mr. Parent to share, the Clinton Police would like to speak with you. Their number is (207) 426-9192. Or you can call the Maine State Police at (207) 624-7076.
