The second winter storm to impact Maine this week will bring light snow to the Bangor and Downeast areas.

The National Weather Service is forecasting light snow for the Bangor area Friday. What was once predicted to bring another round snow and ice to much of Maine is now tracking southward. The storm will likely only amount to a couple inches of new snowfall along the coast. The Bangor area will likely see clouds and light snow showers throughout the day Friday, into Saturday.

The weekend forecast features snow showers, then partly sunny, on Saturday. Sunshine prevails Sunday, with highs near 31. Monday afternoon looks to be the next chance for light snow showers.
