'Tis the season of giving and also time to throw that holiday wreath up on the front door.

The Anah Shriners will hold a "Drive-Thru Wreath Sale" this Saturday at the Shrine Center at 1404 Broadway in Bangor.  Here's your chance to pick up a really nice holiday wreath made here in Maine for $25, while supporting the work of the Shriner's Hospitals for Children in both Boston and Springfield.

From sickness to job loss, it goes without saying that the COVID-19 pandemic has created an immense amount of  hardships during the year 2020, and one way to get out of our "funk" is to decorate for the holidays.  Maybe a beautiful and fine smelling holiday wreath purchased from the Shriners this Saturday could be part of your personal holiday display.

The Shriners tell us that "every precaution will be taken to limit contact" this Saturday, the 21st, as you buy a wreath at the Drive-Thru Wreath Sale within the Shriner's huge parking lot off outer Broadway between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.  Any unsold wreaths will be for sale again the following Saturday, the 28th.

The Shriner's Hospitals for Children in both Boston and Springfield, Massachusetts, provide world class healthcare to children with a variety of ailments and sickness regardless of a family's ability to pay.

Meanwhile, as you hang that holiday wreath please keep in mind that we here at I-95 are asking that you "Light Up Your Town."  This is a chance for you to win $250, simply by entering a photo of your holiday display at either your home or where you work.
