Snow To Begin In Bangor Around 5AM Thursday

Expect anywhere between 2 and 4 inches of snow in Bangor and throughout downeast Maine.

The National Weather Service tells us that snow will begin this Thursday morning around 5 in Bangor and downeast cities and towns like Ellsworth and Machias.  Further inland in places like Greenville, Lincoln and Millinocket, snow will begin about an hour later at 6, making for a slippery morning commute.

Temperatures on Thursday will reach 33 degrees and the winds will be light.  Friday looks to be mostly sunny but much colder, with a high of only 14 degrees in Bangor.  The low Friday night will dip to -6.
