Spring Clean Up In Bangor

This is one of the best things about living in Bangor.  I love it because knowing they are coming around gets me outside and getting it ready.

For the Spring Clean Up in Bangor Public Works crews will  traveling around the city collecting leaves, brush, and metal items curbside.

All bangor residents that wish to participate in the service need to be sure that ALL items are placed curbside no later than 6:30am on Monday, April 29, 2019.  So what can you put out?

• LEAVES: Loose leaves should be raked to the edge of the road where crews can collect them with large vacuum units. Please be sure these piles are ONLY leaves
• BRUSH: I piles separate from your leaves, place all brush parallel to the curb away from low-hanging wires, rubbish containers, and recycling containers.

If you can't wait  you can take your brush and or leaves to the Public Works Yard at 530 Maine Avenue any day during daylight hours.

METAL ITEMS: No televisions, computer monitors, or items containing freon.
