Stay In This Beautiful New Solar Powered Maine Treehouse This Summer
Littlefield Retreat actually features 5 custom made tiny homes that are powered by wind and solar, and are beautifully custom made. By the way, the owners assure us that the only noise you'll hear is the cry of a loon. Now how could one go wrong with that?
Take a look at this 350 square foot Canopy Treehouse which is located on the shore of the very peaceful Littlefield Pond in Sanford, Maine. Everything looks new and exquisitely made, and also very comfortable and welcoming.
Walk up the spiral staircase and you'll see that this rental has a full kitchen with a stove, oven, microwave, and coffeemaker, and man, we just love the looks of that red old fashioned refrigerator! The place also provides it's guests a nicely spaced living area with their own movie screen projector and woodstove, two spiffy clean custom made bedrooms, and a full bath to boot! It also has Wifi, just in case you would actually want to know what's going on in the outside world, although we can't imagine why.
Outside you'll find a fire pit and a hot tub as you make your way down to your own private dock on Littlefield Lake. Yes, this is Maine at it's finest.
One thing that is unique about this treehouse is that it is totally "off the grid", and powered by both wind and solar.
