Storm To Bring Light Snow + Rain to Bangor Area Tuesday
After two big winter storms, the next round of snow will be minor in comparison.
The National Weather Service is calling for light snow from the next winter storm to impact Maine. Forecasters say snow will develop durring the overnight hours, into Tuesday. Throughout the morning Tuesday, snow will change over to rain along the coast. The Bangor area will likely see snow mixing with rain.
The rain is expected to drive down snow totals for the Bangor and coastal areas. 4-6 inches of new snowfall is expected for the Bangor area, and about two inches along the coast. The Greenville and Millinocket areas could see closer to 6 inches of new snow.
Much of Maine is under a Winter Weather Advisory ahead of the storm.
