Strong to Severe Thunderstorms Likely Friday for Much of Maine

Friday's forecast will feature thunderstorms, some in which could be strong to severe.

The National Weather Service in Caribou is warning of strong thunderstorms Friday. Forecasters warn some storms could be severe. The Bangor and Downeast areas will likely see these storms roll through between 2-6 p.m. Friday afternoon.

Some storms may produce gusty winds and hail.
