Surprise! Maine’s Governor Isn’t The Most Disliked In The 50 States
Way to go to our Gov. Paul LePage, and hats off to New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie who has won the coveted title of the most disliked governor in the 50 states with a 71-percent disapproval rate and a 25-percent approval rate.
This comes from a new survey of more than 85,000 registered voters across the U.S. from a group called Morning Consult. On the flip side of that coin. Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Barker was the most liked with a 75-percent approval rating. Go Chuck!
So where did our brown-eyed boy come in? Well, he logged in at No. 9 on the list of the most disliked governors. LePage had a 49-percent disapproval rating and a 48-percent approval rating. That's way better than 2016, when LePage was the fifth least popular governor with a 58-percent disapproval rating.
Here are the least popular governors in the nation for 2017
- Chris Christie, R-NJ
- Sam Brownback, R-KS
- Dan Malloy, D-CT
- Rick Snyde,r R-MI
- Bill Walker, I-Alaska
So see apparently it could be worse. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.
