Gifford's Ice Cream

A representative for the family stated that they are forever grateful to those who stopped into the stand over the years to get a scoop of ice cream.

Gifford’s in Bangor, Skowhegan & Waterville will be scooping and serving up free cones.

Gifford's Ice Cream stand in Bangor will be open from 12 PM to 8:30 PM. Other stands across the state will stagger their opening dates throughout the next month.

Gifford's is making ice cream again, and bringing back some flavors the other producers weren't able to make last year.

And with staffing shortages putting their team to the test, this tradition has seen more action than usual.

If you're eager to participate, it's time to act fast, as the competitions are filling up quickly.

With production in their Skowhegan plant halted temporarily, the folks at Gifford's have had to think outside of the box, or in this case, the carton.

While it may have encountered a setback, Gifford's Ice Cream, with the help of its staff and the community, plans to move forward into the future.
