When people think of Bangor, they usually picture Stephen and Tabitha King's house, the Paul Bunyan statue, and, of course, the fantastic local radio stations. But let me tell you, Bangor's cityscape is wicked underrated, and it's about time we give it the recognition it deserves.
Many Native American groups resided here in Maine, including the Penobscot, the Mi'kmaq, the Abenaki and the names they used for features of Maine are still present in our everyday lexicon.
