It may sound absurd today, but there was actually a point when their career longevity seemed anything but guaranteed.

Several weeks after their surprising announcement as headliners at this year's Coachella Festival, Steely Dan have added a brief string of West Coast dates to their 2015 tour itinerary.

Steely Dan kicked off the last weekend of summer by bringing their "Jamalot Ever After" Tour to the Darling's Waterfront Pavilion in Bangor.

When I heard Steely Dan was coming to Bangor this summer, I was BEYOND excited.  They’re my favorite band. I’ve already seen them in concert four times. I own their entire catalog.

It's the band's highest-selling album, but more importantly remains their most fully realized collection of songs.
