Have you seen any of these?  Then, take a picture and report them!  Watch out, because they are stinky!

Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation & Forestry is on the lookout for the brown marmorated stink bug, which unfortunately has made it's way from the mid-Atlantic states and into Maine.

The Stink Bug, and yes they really do smell when threatened, can damage agricultural crops by eating them or by spreading plant disease, so, Maine officials want to know exactly what we're up against. They're asking that if you encounter the bug to please take a photo and fill out a form at the Department's Maine Bug Watch Facebook page.

The bug originated in Asia and then made it's way to the mid-Atlantic states here. The Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation & Forestry says that it wouldn't be abnormal for someone to see a large amount of these bugs trying to make their way into a home this time of year, so, be on the lookout.  They say that the bug "is merely a nuisance", and will not harm you or your home.
