These two cats might have you convinced you were seeing double when taking a look at them. Say hello to Sam and Dean, handsome Tabby twins, named after the hunky Winchester brothers from the hit television series "Supernatural."

And just as the human form of Sam and Dean couldn't be farther apart in their styles and personalities, according to the folks at the Hancock County SPCA, these two pets of the week may look identical, but they are also two very different cats.

"While both boys can be scaredy-cats at times, Sam tends to be more comfortable with new folks and friendlier."

"Dean has a tendency to hide in cubbies with big eyes or 'resting grumpy face.' Sometimes people ask why they look mean, but they’re actually sweet boys who love other cats, don’t mind dogs, and are fascinated by little children. "

"They need to be adopted together since they’re the best of friends, but they’re in purrfect health and can’t wait to have a family of their own."

We're told that this bonded pair of brothers is about 9 months old. They look almost identical down to even the bold black markings on their faces, and their peridot eyes.

If you want to come to check Sam and Dean out for yourself, just reach out to the fine folks at the Hancock County SPCA, on the Bar Harbor Rd. in Trenton by calling 667-8088 or checking their website at spcahancockcounty.org.
