We know. They're about as ridiculous as Senior Pictures and Quotes can get. This Throwback Thursday we wanted to know what your Senior yearbook quote was, and we were giving bonus points to anyone brave enough to post his/her Senior picture with it. We got the ball started, embarrassingly enough, with our own. And wow...

JStew: Hampden Class of 1992 My whole quote thing was a foggy moment in homeroom, right before the bell. I may have been hanging out with all my musician/skater friends right before as well. Feel free to infer that any way you like.... Anyhow, it was based off something I saw someone write in someone else's yearbook the year before, but I put my own spin on it. Or maybe I stole it word for word from my fogbank of memory at that point. Either way.... I still, to this day, can't believe I made it out of high school intact, hahaha.

Cori: John Bapst Class of 1998 First of all, a big shout out to Melissa Avery Burns at John Bapst for finding a copy of the '98 year book and snapping a couple of pictures of this gem. Also, what the hell? To all of it. The hair. The strategically placed hands (I have huge hands--it's always a chore to hide those suckers!) The quote, or should I say quotes?! There's a line from my favorite movie, Labyrinth, in there. There's a quote from Rocky Horror Picture Show (one of my other favorites at the time) in there. There's some things I was known for saying, and some strange crap I'm sure I made up. Truth be told, I wasn't around for my Senior year because I had already started college down south, so my head was likely not in the game. But man, this is what I left for an impression? Yikes.

Thankfully, time seems to have been better to us than we deserve...or has it? Hahahaha

Here are the offerings of those brave souls (or maybe just the ones who could remember that far back!) who shared their Senior quotes with us...

Mike from West Enfield: Brewer Class of 1996 "With a gun in one hand and hunting knife in the other, I could go in the woods and live forever!"

Aaron Hart: Brewer Class of 1991  "Zoiks--and away!" was my Senior quote. It's from a Looney Tunes episode where Daffy Duck is swinging on a series of vines and keeps smacking into trees. I stand by it.

The winners of the bonus points, and the only ones brave enough to post both their quotes AND Senior Pics...

Jim Murphy: Bangor Class of 1987 I lamely quoted the illustrious Pete Townshend "Don't Cry, Don't Raise Your Eyes, It's Only Teenage Wasteland"...And I just realized I used the senior pic altered by Todd Simcox with the "Tri-Lamb" patch... Hahaha

Megan Bridges My quotes seem rather ironic coming from the overachiever, goodie two shoes that I was (am)! Throwback to my awkward naturally curly hair phase.
