At about 9:30 last night a family in Whitefield got an terrible surprise.

Back in my youth it became a popular trend to put a pitched roof on a trailer to quiet the noise when it rained. Although News Center did not report that part of the story I am making an educated guess here. The good new reported in the Lincoln County News is that no one was hurt when the additional roof detached and flew into the drive way on the vehicles in the picture above. Also a blessing in this case is the original roof on this trailer was still intact.

So many hardships have blossomed from these high winds right across the state. Let's hope this is the end of it.  We're ready for Spring, bring on the mud.
