UMaine Police Seek Suspect in Connection with Social Media Threat

The University of Maine Police Department is looking for a man allegedly responsible for a threat that was posted to social media.

An alert has been posted on the UMaine Facebook page. Officials have not released the details of the social media threat, but say that they are looking for 20-year-old Afshin Zarechian, of Manchester, New Hampshire. Zarechian is described as 5'9" tall, 150 pounds, with dark hair, dark eyes, and a dark complexion. He's believed to be driving an older model, green BMW, with New Hampshire license plate RICCH.
