Want to add a bunch of fun to your family, there's a particular pooch the SPCA of Hancock County wants you to meet.

"Vex is a 67lb bully breed mix with unique brindle mottling on her white coat, bright caramel eyes, and loads of love to share. Vex is about 1.5 years old, housetrained, and walks fairly well on a leash - the caveat is she does not have a lot of confidence so she can be easily frightened when walking by windy or wooded areas, and she prefers to have the company of her people."

"She is extremely open to making new friends and trusts people quickly after a few tasty treats since she is also food-motivated. This girl would love to be someone’s snuggle buddy and shadow but don’t forget she’s young still, and boy does she love to run around with the zoomies when she’s happy!"

"Vex’s ideal home is with a couple or a single person that can spend plenty of time with her at home and slowly build up her confidence with positive reinforcement. She would need an experienced dog owner to introduce her to other dogs in the household and other pets."
