Want to See REO and Styx For Free? Are You A First Responder Or Part Of The Military?
The folks at Waterfront Concerts want to make sure that our first responders, healthcare workers, and military members not only feel the love but get to rock this weekend...for free.
It was announced today that this Sunday's upcoming REO Speedwagon, Styx, and Loverboy concert will be a Military and First Responders Appreciation Night.
"As a thank you for their service, we will be offering Military (active, retired, reserve, veteran) and First Responders (Police, Fire, EMS & Dispatch) up to two free tickets for themselves and their spouse or family member to our upcoming show with Reo Speedwagon, Styx and Loverboy at Maine Savings Amphitheater this coming Sunday, September 18th! We would also like to extend the free ticket offer to healthcare professionals (e.g. doctors, registered nurses, pharmacists, support staff, and technicians)."
That's right, Waterfront Concerts will give 2 free tickets per valid ID.
How do you get them?
All you have to do to claim them is make sure to visit the First Responders Night Ticket Booth after 3 PM. The booth will be set up right across the street from the Northeast entrance to the Amphitheater. (That's the entrance all the way down towards the waterfront.)
What do you need to bring with you?
You'll need to bring your Military, First Responder, Healthcare or Work ID. Or if you have paperwork or a uniform (T-shirt) from your workplace, that will do, too.
What will this get you?
If you bring proof of ID for being a part of either the military, a first responder, or a healthcare worker, you will get two free tickets to Sunday Night's rock show, one for you and one for a spouse or immediate family member.
A classy move to offer some well-deserving members of our community the opportunity to enjoy a fun night out, full of great music, on Bangor's waterfront!
