WATCH As Waves From Hurricane Teddy Pound Maine

The National Weather Service has extended a High Surf Advisory until 8 tonight for both Hancock and Washington Counties. Expect waves of 4 to 11 feet in the "surf zone."

Mother Nature's ocean fury is most ferocious, especially when there's a hurricane out to sea.  Teddy may now be a post-tropical cyclone located off the northeast coast of Nova Scotia, but it certainly churned up the waters in the Gulf of Maine of its way by.
