The Connecticut state police had a little help with this case of high speed driving, from the driver himself.

Yes, you're probably familiar with how fast some drive on the Interstates in the more urban areas of southern New England.  Well, here's a classic case of someone going far too fast, over 100 mph to be precise, while driving in and out of traffic.

Watch as the operator of a souped up muscle car loses it and crashes, when he takes an off ramp off Interstate 95 while crossing the Gold Star Memorial Bridge between New London and Groton.

This guy was so proud of his driving that he streamed it live for all to see.  Including, the Connecticut State Police Troop E in Montville, who posted the video on their Facebook page.

Hopefully this guy wasn't using the State Farm app that gives one a driver's discount for abiding by the laws of the road, because we imagine that wouldn't have worked out as well. But, we have to give credit where credit is due.  Yes, Siri was giving directions to Groton to the bitter end, directly following the sounds of screeching tires and crunching metal.
