Saturday, April 29th, is National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day.  This is a great reminder to get those expired and obsolete meds out of the house before they get into the wrong person's hands.  It's also a good way to protect the environment.

Clean out Grammy's medicine cabinet and take those unwanted drugs to the following locations, no questions asked.  Local police departments and other organizations will be hosting the sites.  All areas are open 10AM-2PM

Bangor: Airport Mall Parking Lot, Union Street side, near Hannaford.  Also at Cascade Park, hosted by the Penobscot Sheriff's Department.

Ellsworth:  Ellsworth Chamber of Commerce building at 163 High Street.

Old Town:  Hannaford Supermarket parking lot on Stillwater Avenue.

Many police departments will be hosting the event right there in the lobby of their location/station. Those, along with more Maine Drug Take-Back locations can be found at the DEA/Diversion Control Division's website!
