Winter Weather Headed To Maine Thursday, Friday [UPDATE]

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for most of northern and eastern Maine in advance of a Thursday snow storm headed to the region.

The advisory will be in effect from 2 p.m. Thursday to 7 a.m. Friday for Piscataquis County, Penobscot County, Hancock County, Aroostook County and Washington County.

The forecast is calling for 3-to-7 inches of snow, heavy at times, with heaviest accumulations north and west of Bangor.
