This past week, a Chevy Impala was pulled from the bottom of Long Pond in Southwest Harbor, which is the town's drinking supply. Four ice shacks now reside at the bottom of Eagle Lake on MDI, another public drinking water supply.

A partial power outage continues at the Bangor Mall Cinema 10 complex.  Last week's windstorm damaged a power transformer on a phone pole, which in turn damaged the underground power cable that feeds the site.
