I was driving down Wilson Street, a five lane roadway, in Brewer when the wail of a fire truck was heard from the adjoining Parkway South.

At this point, the car in front of me stopped dead I the middle of Wilson Street. The person didn’t pull over, they just stopped and I thought…really!? Better than nothing I guess, but certainly not what is required by the state statutes for proper yielding to an emergency vehicle.

So I wondered what are the exact laws regarding this and does the average person know what is allowed and not allowed within the laws of our state. So let's see how you do. After taking the test if you are curious you can click here to see the actual laws.
