On this date in 1993, Peter Gabriel's "Sledgehammer" video was named the number one video of all time by Rolling Stone Magazine.  The former founding member of Genesis produced a very colorful and very artsy video that everyone seemed to appreciate!

Celebrating a birthday today is Stacy Keibler. Stacy used to wrestle with the WWE, she was a Dancing With The Stars contestant and is the former girlfriend of actor George Clooney.  Man, George gets all the girls.  Stacy was born in Maryland and is 34 years old today.

It was on this date in 1989 that Motley Crue's album "Dr. Feelgood" hit number one on the Billboard chart. Motely Crue was formed in Los Angeles in 1980 by Nikki Sixx, Tommy Lee, Vince Neil and Mick Mars, to say that they were known for their fast living is an understatement. Of course they still tour to this day, recently playing the Bangor Waterfront this past Spring. The album by the Crue would stay at number one for two weeks.

Roger Moore, the actor who portrayed James Bond for most of us growing up is 86 years old today! My first recollection of Moore as James Bond was the film Live And Let Die....and then there was Jaws.

On this date in 1975 Kiss released "Rock & Roll All Night"! As I stand here today after breaking yet another tooth on the shredded wheat, my back hurting for no good reason, and hair growing grayer as I write this, I have to wonder what it would be like to "rock n roll all night and party every day", again.
