Veteran rockers Rod Stewart and Steve Winwood will hit the road together beginning tonight in Greensboro, North Carolina.  "Live The Life" is the name of the tour.

This isn't the first time that Rod Stewart has teamed up with another big time artist for a tour, last year his double billing with Stevie Nicks was a big success.

Evel Knievel, America's first motorcycle daredevil was born on this date in 1938. Evel made his living jumping over buses and canyons, busting many bones in the process. He thrilled us for many years before he eventually passed away in 2007. His website is still up and open for business.

On this date in 1981, Nine Tonight, the live album by Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band made its way to #3 on the album chart where it would stay for four weeks.  If you remember the studio version of the song was featured in the John Travolta movie, Urban Cowboy.
