Born on this date was one of rock's original madmen, Leslie West. With his bushy hair and chainsaw guitar he made Mountain's "Mississippi Queen" a very big song! Leslie is 68 today!  Right now at this moment, it's pretty much guaranteed that Mississippi Queen is being played by someone in a garage somewhere.
