Jon King Trio To Perform Free Concert Thursday Night At West Market Square [VIDEOS]

Hey, do you like the bluesy guitar rock?  Then check out this free concert tomorrow night in Downtown Bangor!

The FREE Cool Sounds Summer Concert Series continues Thursday night with the Jon King Trio!

Jon King is a musician from Maine who has been performing here in New England for almost a decade!  King’s music is a blend of blues and rock, with emphasis on guitar!

The FREE Cool Sounds Summer Concert begins at 6PM and runs until 8 right there in West Market Square! As an added bonus, the Fresh Air Market runs between 5 and 8PM! According to a City of Bangor press release, "Up to 20 vendors are expected weekly at the Fresh Air Market. Available items include artwork, specialty foods, jewelry, clothing and much more. Food vendors will also be on site."

The event will happen every Thursday until August 20th, rain or shine! Here is the lineup for the rest of the summer:

August 6 - Kenya Hall; August 13 - When Particles Collide; August 20 - Tomato Tomato with Goldenoak.
