Chris Ross and the North are quickly becoming one of Maine's most popular acts ever, and we were very fortunate to have him show up with his guitar today here in our studio!

Chris, who resides in Hancock,  told us about how he got his start, what his musical influences are, what it's like traveling all over the place, and how he even drew the cover of his brand new album, Young Once.

Listen to his most excellent version of Bob Seger's "Night Moves."  What a voice and what fabulous guitar work.  As a matter of fact, while I was airing Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here", Chris was playing the song note for note off air.

Later in the hour, this very talented guy who once cooked pizza at Pat's in Ellsworth gave us a taste of his new album by playing Annabelle!  Just amazing!  We'll have that video here soon.

Check out who we've now dubbed "Maine's Hardest Working Musician", Chris Ross, without his band The North, as he opens for Grammy Award winning artist Marc Cohn at the Gracie Theatre at Husson University on Thursday night, May 5th!  For ticket information go HERE!
