PowerSmart Maine Expo this Thursday!
Governor LePage’s top energy advisor, Ken Fletcher, will be the keynote speaker at the PowerSmart Maine Expo to be hosted by Bangor Hydro and Maine Public Service. Vendors also will be on hand to offer
information on efficient heating and cooling technologies, home weatherization, electric vehicles, and more. Fletcher will discuss ways that Mainers can lower their energy costs.
“We’re very excited about the potential of mini-split heat pumps to save our customers money on their heating and cooling bills,” said Gerry Chasse, President and COO of Bangor Hydro and Maine Public Service. “The mini split technology has come a long way in recent years,” he added.
The PowerSmart Maine Expo will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at
the Spectacular Event Center.
Vendors will include contractors, installers, manufacturers, utility companies, electric vehicle dealers, and more. There will be a mini split heat pump and electric vehicle demonstrations and informational
talks. Door prizes will be awarded and refreshments will be served.
