So, can you cook up a mean bowl of chili or chowder?  Even if you can't we know that you'd love to strap on the feed bag and attend this event!

It's the "Third Annual Chili and Chowder Cook-Off" to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Maine, this Saturday, March 21st, between 6 and 8 p.m. at Season's Restaurant on Main Street in Bangor!

If you'd like to enter, then submit 4 to 6 quarts of either chili or chowder the day of the event.  You'll have to bring your own crock pot or slow cooker.  Entry forms are available are available HERE.  Competition is open to all local restaurants, professionals, and individuals!

For a ten dollar cover charge, anyone can belly-up and sample all the entries and then vote for their favorite!

Awards will be presented in three categories,  "Judge's Choice, Firefighter's Choice and People's Choice."  Local television news celebrities along with local firefighter's will judge the entries!
