ZZ Top have now cancelled the band's Portland show that was scheduled for Saturday, September 27th at the Maine State Pier.

From a press release sent out today, "scheduled tour dates will resume at the first of the year (however our date at the Maine State Pier will not be rescheduled).

If you remember, a couple of weeks ago, Dusty Hill, the bass player of the band fell and injured his hip while inside the band's tour bus.

The press release goes on to say, "Dusty's well being is paramount."  Dusty Hill is still recuperating and is expected to make a full recovery.

“We’re looking forward to getting out there and rockin’ it with Dusty in a big way...100%,” bandmates Billy F Gibbons and Frank Beard, commented.

Ticket holders for the Portland show should see a refund where they purchased their tickets.
