Bangor Firefighters Collecting Money For MDA On Black Friday
Black Friday shoppers are encouraged to Fill The Boot while out shopping.
Once again the Bangor Professional Firefighters will be setting up a charitable 'toll booth' in Bangor. Firefighters will be at the intersection of Bangor Mall Blvd and Hogan Road looking to collect cash for the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Maine.
Folks out shopping can make a donation of spare change by simply rolling down the window, and tossing it in the boot. The firefighters will be collecting donations from 8-2PM. You can also donate online, here.
Their goal is to raise $13,000 on Black Friday, which is traditionally Bangor Professional Firefighters biggest fundraising day. So far this year they've raised over $32,000 for MDA of Maine.
Over the past decade Bangor Firefighters have collected over $250,000 for MDA.
