Free 4th of July Celebration in Bangor at Amphitheater [UPDATE]
The Bangor Symphony Orchestra will perform on the 4th of July and it’ll be free to attend at Maine Savings Amphitheater.
Who will sing the National Anthem?
Christie Robinson, Co-Host on Danny Cashman's The Nite Show, currently starring in 9 to 5 The Musical at Penobscot Theatre Company, and frequent guest on the Q106.5 Morning Show.
Christie was a first-time Egg Rider in the Q106.5 Egg Ride for Pine Tree Camp in January. No eggs for this appearance.
Here’s your chance to see all the renovations and changes that have been going on non-stop at the venue.
It will be free to attend and if that is not worth celebrating, the BSO concert will be followed by the fireworks.
The doors will open at 5 p.m. and the seating is general admission. You can arrive anytime with no tickets, and sit anywhere you’d like. Upfront. Further back. On the new lawn.
Oh, and the new wider seats are permanent. Read more comfortable.
Concessions will be available for purchase, and the bathrooms will be open also.
The music begins at 5:15, and the Bangor Symphony Orchestra are on at 8:30 p.m.
The facility has really been improved, even since last concert season. Here’s a look at some of the changes as they worked in the c-c-c-cold weather.
And a few months later as they were getting closer to what you'll experience when you visit.
Happy 4th of July.
Enjoy the free show. If you love the venue even more, here are all the concerts, so far, that are booked to play the Bangor waterfront this season.
