Nostalgia will be hitting Bangor hard this weekend, as many characters from our beloved childhood shows will be in the Queen City to visit with fans.

You might be familiar with its old name, 'Bangor Comic and Toy Con', but this year, the event is getting a bit of a makeover, complete with some pretty cool guests.

Maine-based Vacationland Entertainment presents the upcoming 'Queen City Expo', taking place at the Cross Insurance Center this weekend.

However, there's a long list of other notable guests scheduled to appear during the weekend-long event, including Erik Estrada-Poncho from 'Chips', DJ Lance Rock from 'Yo Gabba Gabba!', and Danny Tamberelli and Michael C. Maronna from 'The Adventures of Pete & Pete' and 'Home Alone', to name a few.

Additional 'SpongeBob' events will also be taking place in nearby locations, including an all-ages 'Bikini Bottom Glow Bash' taking place on Friday, November 14th at the Bangor Grande Hotel. On Saturday evening, Tom Kenny's band 'Tom Kenny and the Hi-Seas' will perform, with special guest DJ Lance Rock, at 8 PM.

They're also doing a food drive during the Expo, wherein guests can bring non-perishable food items to help local food cupboards. They've got an incentive for folks to donate, too. For every 3 non-perishable items a person brings in, that person can walk away with an autographed 8 x 10 photo from a past Expo guest.
